ELF HAUL!

Hello beauties, a couple of days ago i thought i would splurge yet some more money on products i definitely do not need  (a habit of course) well, i had just been paid and i always have the urge as soon as that money goes into my bank account (yes, i sit up waiting, till sometimes 2am!) just so i can hunt the web for some make-up/beauty products, then it suddenly hit me, i do not own any elf products at all! So i went a little craazy! Enjoy guys! 

My eyebrows sometimes have a mind of their own, i know they are meant to be like cousins, don't no about cousins, more like ancestors. So i had to make this purchase this eyebrow stencil kit. I have been using these stencils for a few days now, and finally I've had some good complements about my "lovely shaped" eyebrows for a change. This pack comes with 4 different stencils, my preferable one for my eyebrows on a daily basis is curved arch, as i feel like this frames my face a lot more, but if i was going for a meal or a night out i would definitely go with the structured arch as they would look more dramatic.

I needed a makeup setter, and i happened to stumble across this one, i am a little funny with spray mist's as they can have a really funny smell and i hate my face looking "oily" as some mists can cause this problem, But thankfully.. that weird smell is not so strong as some of those terrible mists I've regrettably sprayed on my face! and the bonus, my face doesn't look oily, when i first sprayed the mist on my face i was like "oh no" i'm oily, so i let the mist set and dry (by taking a hairdryer to my face lol) my makeup thankfully turned back to how it was prior! This product last around a full 8 hours on my face, my make up stayed firmly intact and i'm so glad i made the plunge and stepped outside my comfort zone and sprayed my face! (its a daunting thing to me it really is haha)

Concealer, what else, my addiction. this palette instantly caught my eye, its a sleek packaging instantly reminds me of the NARS packaging,  i love the fact this has the green and the pink shades, and this conceals dark circles amazingly. the two neutral tones are a little darker than what i would usually use, but i have found they are amazing at covering my blemishes, a dab a little of the two on my blemish, to reduce redness, then use a lighter shade on top, i will start to use the two shades on their own when we get into summer, as hopefully i will be a little more tan!

Along with my new brow stencils i though i would treat myself to a new brow pencil, what i liked about this brow pencil is that is has the brow highlighter included and also a sharpener included as the lid, i chose my pencil in dark, beings as though i now have black hair, i love this pencil already, its creamy, soft and don't have to press hard to get colour pay off, the highlighter is equally amazing my eyebrows have had a total new make over. This pencil comes in three different shades Light, Medium, Brown.

This Hyper-shine Lip gloss is currently my favorite thing in the world! The picture i have posted does not do this lip gloss the justice it officially deserves, this is in the shade #9011 Fairy, this lip gloss is not sticky stays on for quite some time before you have to reapply, its the most gorgeous baby pink, with the smallest flecks of glitter, it's retractable packaging is what drawn me to this lip gloss as there is nothing worse then squeezing a tube and getting a mouthful, or having loads of lip gloss left stuck at the bottom and not being able to get to it because the wand wont reach! At least this this lip gloss you can see how much your using, and know when to re-stock! The brush applicator is the softest, like putting pillows on your lips (weird analogy, i know) it comes in 9 different shades, and i wish i had purchased more!

Studio matte lip colour, where have you been all my life! These are probably my favorite lip colours of all the time, they are creamy, don't leave your lips looking cracked or dry, they are amazing colours, i have had many many compliments on all three colours, i am so glad i had chose these three, the coral has to be my favorite. i have been hunting for a coral lip colour for a while and haven't been able to find one that was matte and actually looked like the colour coral. Theses where amazingly inexpensive, i might just have to purchase the other three colours which are Rich Red, Praline, and Natural, these are definitely a steal and have amazing colour pay off! They also include a hidden sharpener at the very bottom and the packaging is also retractable.

This blush is gorgeous, it's compact which is of course practical, comes with a small mirror, and again the picture does not do this blush any justice, i tried about 1000X to get a decent picture and this one ended up being the best one, (sorry) still trying to get used to my camera, it had rose gold flecks with a hint of nude and rose tones. It's in the shade Candid Coral. I recommend using this product on a daily basis, if you want a natural glow. This product is perfect, it's not chalky at all, it's got a really silky soft texture. 

It comes in 11 other different shades.

Baby Lips By Maybelline Review

Hey Beauts :)

Today's post (as you can tell by the title) is a review on Baby Lips!

Let me just start off saying - i love it! the packaging, the colour, the smell, everything!

  

i chose Pink Punch, but i wish i had also bought the others now, after a long craze that america had with this product, it finally arrived in the UK - THANK GOD! This product is not lipstick so don't be mistaken, it's actually a lip balm with 8 hour hydration, and SPF20 - yes this product is the bomb! 

With Pink Punch it leaves just a hint of colour, not too intense, it's sheer pink which i love as my lips are being nourished, but looking fabulous as well!

To Youtube Or Not To Youtube

Hey beauts <3

Okay, this is about YouTube if your all wondering - for weeks maybe months i have been thinking about setting up my own beauty channel as i feel as though i can offer tricks and tips that i use to share with others - but there is hesitation... simply because it's a tough market out there, not because of the fact i want to be noticed etc - for the fact that i don't want to be seen as "coping" what other beauty guru's have done, or doing video's that have already been done before, i'm the type of person that wants to be original and doesn't really want to follow in someone else's footsteps, i like to switch things up a lot! 

I'm gathering ideas that haven't actually been done on YouTube (not that i know of) it's probably just a matter of time before someone does.. still there is hesitation there, even just sitting in front of a camera by yourself on your own talking to yourself... hmm i can't say i have done that before, i also don't want to come across as "fake" or "not being genuine"as sitting in front of a camera i know there are some yes some YouTubers that i have seen videos and you can just tell they are doing things to get comments or subscribers or they are saying things that they wouldn't normally - and i put that down to nerves,  i know there is a lot of hate on the internet and i really don't care what people think of me frankly, i think its quite funny - my saying is.. if they don't know you personally then don't take it personal.

Will i ever bite the bullet and just do it, i don't know, as it's time consuming also! i barely have enough time to write a blog with long hours i work. I need to get some priority's right i think! 

I love beauty and probably by an item or items or make-up a day (which is bad) i can't help it! whether it's online or actual shopping - i just hope one day i will share my absolute love of beauty and cosmetics a lot more than i am now! 

Anyway, if you have any tips or advice you can give me to sway my mind in any way that would be great because of course i care what my followers think! 

P.S I had a brief Youtube a few months back, but again it was time consuming and i wasn't posting video's - i think i posted about 2 and then deleted them the same week - but i feel like i'm ready to commit :)!

Brunette!

It's been a while, i know.. a LOT has changed!

I now have a new job, which i love, it's challenging, and everyday is different!

and... I'm Brunette! I had to say goodbye to the red, as it was costing me a fortune in hair dye! My roots would come through within 10 days! So decided i needed to take action!

At first i was hesitant, i was scared as i didn't want to look washed out, but after some careful time and consideration, i sent miles to the nearest supermarket to get me some dark brown hair dye, and i can honestly say i'm happy that i did! 

Sorry for the crappy quality, i took it with my iphone, but anyway, i used L'oreal Preference  - Recital Preference in 003 Brasilia , i wish i would of used 5.5 virginia as this dye had actually turned my hair black :| Never mind i loved the outcome anyhow, 

This hair dye is so easy to use and spreads well all over, best thing is, its quick to develop so you can see the results pretty much straight away, after washing the dye out and blow drying my hair, my hair was extremely glossy and shiny! 

I will 100% be using this product again! 

                         

I like having dark hair and red hair, but for costly and timely reasons i think i'll stay dark for a while!

Today's Hair and Make-up

So today I took my two standard poodles to the doggy salon to be clipped and I didn't want to go over the top with my look, I just wanted natural looking eyes but with lips that POP, yes it was early morning around 8.30 am to be exact, so yes I do look a little tired!(oh and don't mind the eyebrows, I am growing them as I want a fuller shape)
